Workshop on Respectful, Cooperative Research
UAF Akasofu Building 501, In-person only8 am – 5 pm AKSTA professional development workshop for researchers and students to learn how to work respectfully and ethically with communities in É«»¨Ìà and beyond, facilitated by Dr. Mike Koskey from the UAF Center for Cross-Cultural Studies. This will be a full day workshop consisting of presentations, group discussions, question sessions, break-out groups. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration is limited and on a first come first serve basis.

IGNITE is an annual professional development workshop that brings together University of É«»¨Ìà faculty, staff, and students for two days of inspiring and instructive presentations, keynote speakers, and discussion sessions.


Science Olympiad
Spring
É«»¨Ìà EPSCoR organizes the É«»¨Ìà statewide Science Olympiad with the College of
Engineering and Mines and the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Teams of middle school students compete in hands-on science, STEM challenges. Winning
teams travel to compete at the national level.
